Foxrock is an affluent, leafy suburb in Co. Dublin, situated between the sea at Dún Laoghaire and the foot of the Dublin Mountains. It is close to Stillorgan, Dun Laoghaire, Blackrock, and Dundrum.
Foxrock has a charming village with a good selection of exclusive restaurants and specialist food shops. There is an upmarket supermarket, wine shop, butcher, hairdresser, chemist, and several high end boutique shops.
There is an abundance of leisure facilities in the area including two golf courses, various local tennis clubs, rugby, GAA and marine activities in the nearby Dun Laoghaire. Cabinteely Park with its 96 acres of parkland offers the perfect retreat and there is a large children`s playground nearby. Leopardstown golf course and racecourse are also close by.
The area is easily accessible and the N11 provides quick access into Dublin City Centre, and the M50 interchange is close by. There is also green LUAS at Central Park and Sandyford providing quick access into the city centre.
EDUCATION
There are a good selection of primary and secondary schools in the area. Primary school options include Nord Anglia International School, the Lycee Francais d’Irlande, Hollypark Boys and Girls National School, St. Brigid’s Boys and Girls National School and Cabinteely Community School. Secondary Schools are within a short driving distance and include Blackrock College, Mount Anville, St. Andrew’s College, Willow Park and Loreto Foxrock.
